Callum McCreath

Callum McCreath is a London-based freelance sound engineer, with experience in pop recording, location classical recording and live sound. A graduate of the Tonmeister course a the University of Surrey, Callum has worked with artists, composers and engineers across a wide range of genres.

Pop Music

Callum has recorded with both singer-songwriters and bands on a variety of genres including pop, rock, gospel, jazz and funk. This includes working with artists like FEET, Flat Party, Patrick Wolf and more as an assistant, recording engineer, mixing engineer and mastering engineer.

Location Recording

Having worked with location recording companies such as Floating Earth, World of Sound and Classic FM, Callum has worked in some of the most prestigious venues across the country including Edinburgh Castle, Westminster Hall and St Paul’s Cathedral. Callum has also engineered his own orchestral, choral and chamber music recordings in venues such as St Alfege Church, Greenwich and St George’s Cathedral, Southwark.

Film Music

Callum has worked on several scores for both short films and TV, including recording the BAFTA-winning score for Rage Against The Regime: Iran. Through his work on short films, Callum has recorded various genres including classical, jazz and pop.
